Le grand retour sur scène de YOUSSOU N'DOUR, la Super Star de la musique africaine, lancera le coup d'envoi des célébrations des 30 ans de Nuits d'Afrique le JEUDI 12 NOVEMBRE à l'Olympia de Montréal.
Youssou N’Dour, ‘’meilleur artiste africain du siècle’’ selon le magazine Folk Roots, est le mythe de la tradition des grands cheikhs marabout, des kora, balafon et xalam. Avec Myriam Makeba, Manu Dibango et Mory Kanté, il est celui à avoir réussi le ‘’cross-over’’ de la musique africaine. « Les artistes africains écriront les standards de demain.
