BIO
Born and raised in Paris (France) , Stefane's music roots run deep.
What was initially a family a?air has become a life long dedication to the artform of DJ'ing and sound selecting. Stefane recalls growing up in a musical household where his older brother, a vinyl enthusiast during the Golden Era of Hip Hop and R&B, gave him no choice but to be exposed to a wide array of music 24/7. With time, Stefane's musical taste began to divert from his brothers and he began exploring a variety of new and interesting sounds on his own. During this time Stefane also began taking note of the amount of friends and colleagues he had who had begun to learn to DJ. Stefane decided that simply listening to the music wasn't enough anymore. He wanted to have control over what was played and how it was played to create an experience. He wanted to be able to mix his favorite songs in his own style and decided he would also give DJ'ing a try. He appealed to his
personal friend, DJ Chris Thomas, founder of QALOMOTA, one of the oldest house music record labels in France, to teach him everything he knew. As a result of his experience with both hip hop and house music styles he was now able to bring the best of both worlds into his sets, combining quality song selections with smooth transitions. Today Stefane's favorite styles to spin are Classic Hip Hop, Soul, Funk, R&B, and Deep/Afro/Vocal House Music. Now his larger purpose as a DJ is to introduce new, exceptional and rare music to a broader audience.
Stefane wants to push boundaries by genre bending and using a
variety of dj'ing technics to create a unique and amazing experience for his audience that combines quality music with exceptional skill.
