Born to a Guadeloupean mother and a Senegalese father, Senaya is the blend of everything that is richest and most beautiful. Nurtured as much by Michael Jackson as by Manu Dibango, as much by Kassav as by Prince, as much by Bob Marley as by Nina Simone, this songwriter, composer, singer and guitarist sails in open waters, offering her very own soûlkreyôl, an open style of music conveying the sense that life is beautiful. For this series of shows, Senaya immerses herself in her musical roots, with guests from varied backgrounds.
