In conjunction with Divest McGill's Fossil Free Week, McGill Faculty and Librarians for Divestment are using our knowledge and experience as educators to provide free education on issues related to climate change.
Public teach-ins will be happening in McGill’s Community Square (outside of James Administration) all week, and some professors will also be including climate related content in their courses, and invite members of the community to join.
Our goal is to support Fossil Free Week by creating a week-long, campus-wide learning environment in which students can engage these issues in the classroom to see the range of ways that climate change impacts our everyday lives. This is a way we can support Divest McGill's action pledge by doing what we do best: teaching.
