Just back from an European tour ranging from Sweden to the UK, and including appearances at the hcmf// (Huddersfield contemporary music festival), Quatuor Bozzini finally unveils its new project. the Performer's Kitchen, a first for Montreal audiences.
In the vein of its Composer's Kitchen, this series is dedicated to instrumentalists aiming to perfect their work by adventuring beyond standard musical channels. Come hear some repertoire with and within an unexpected perspective! Liberally inspired by the Vancouver series Music on Main at The Cellar, QB will set up shop at La Sala Rosa (in the restaurant dining room!) where the audience is invited to hear music performed, reflected upon, and reshaped, with a Spanish tasting menu accompaniment. The first event takes place Tuesday, December 10, 6 pm, with special guest, guitarist Marc-Olivier Lamontagne.
Tout juste de retour d'une tournée européenne qui l'a mené de la Suède à la Grande-Bretagne - où il s'est produit, entre autre, au prestigieux festival hcmf// à Huddersfield - le Quatuor Bozzini présente enfin au public montréalais son tout nouveau projet, le Performer's Kitchen.
Dans la lignée du Composer's Kitchen, cette série est dédiée aux instrumentistes qui veulent parfaire leur art en s'aventurant hors des sentiers battus. Répertoire surprenant en perspective! Inspiré librement de la série vancouveroise Music on Main at The Cellar, le quatuor s'installe à La Sala Rosa (le resto!) où le public est invité à venir écouter musique et commentaires tout en goûtant au menu de ce restaurant espagnol. Le premier événement aura lieu le mardi 10 décembre prochain, 18 h, avec comme invité le guitariste Marc-Olivier Lamontage.
