Everyone is welcome, whether you are interested in joining the collective, or just chatting with us. This is a great chance to talk about how to get involved and to discover our past work and future projects.
Our goal is to develop the involvement of self-identifying women and other gender minorities in community radio, as programmers, hosts, producers, artists, and listeners. We strive to shed light on issues pertaining to women and other gender minorities, and to diversify voices on the air. The collective aims to provide support through training and opportunities within the CJLO 1690AM, Concordia, and Montreal community.
We will be hosting the event at the CSU office on the 7th floor of the Hall Building from 4pm to 6pm on February 26th. There will be tea and lots of snacks. The office is wheelchair accessible by elevator. Unfortunately, there are no gender neutral washrooms on the 7th floor, but there is one on the 1st, 2nd, and 10th floor.
Concordia is located on Kanien’kehá:ka traditional territory.
