Originaire de Montréal et élevée à Ottawa, Magella est une chanteuse, compositrice et poète engagée. Ayant grandi dans une famille de musiciens, elle a été exposée à un vaste éventail de genres, mais elle a eu un coup de foudre pour le jazz. Sous la direction de la célèbre chanteuse de jazz Ranee Lee et du ténor d'opéra Michiel Schrey, Magella à développé un genre à la fois jazz et classique. Avec sa voix riche et puissante, Magella vous envoûtera en puisant dans le répertoire du jazz populaire américain jusqu'au jazz moderne.

Native to Montreal and raised in Ottawa, Magella is a vocalist, composer, poet and activist. While growing up in a musical family, she was exposed to a vast array of genres, however she resonated well with the genre of jazz. Under the direction of renowned jazz vocalist Ranee Lee and operatic tenor Michiel Schrey, Magella has become adept in both jazz and classical repertoire.
With her rich and powerful voice, Magella will follow through with repertoire from the American songbook to modern jazz.
