***http://www.facebook.com/MadelineHarveyMusic/ Madeline grew up near the coast in Connecticut with a strong background in theatre and choir. In 2014 she moved to Montreal to pursue a music career. Her sound can be described as soul/r&b/jazz/pop. She writes and composes music independently and also with her collaborator, Matt Lipscombe, bassist and main songwriter for Montreal’s legendary ska-funk band Me Mom and Morgentaler. A few musicians that greatly inspire her work are: Etta James, Aretha Franklin, and Joss Stone. She is currently writing and arranging the songs that will be on her upcoming soul-infused debut. She will be accompanied by Sage Reynolds (Bass), Chris Tauchner (Keyboard), Greg Ritchie (Drums), and Jim Bland (Electric Guitar).
