Join us for a free screening of the documentary film Access to the Danger Zone on September 22, 2016 at 6:30PM in Montreal.
Narrated by Daniel Day-Lewis, "Access to the Danger Zone" provides a harrowing look at the challenges of delivering humanitarian aid in armed conflicts.
Over 52 minutes, the documentary explores the strategies that Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) uses to save lives in the world’s worst war zones, including Afghanistan, Somalia and eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. Interviews with key experts from MSF, the International Committee of the Red Cross and the United Nations are accompanied by dramatic footage shot in the these countries in 2011 and 2012.
Join us after the screening for a question and answer period hosted by Rachel Kiddell- Monroe, International Board member, and featuring a panel of experts who will be speaking about their experiences with MSF.
The film screening is free, fully accessible, and open to the public.
Please note that we will be presenting the French subtitled version of the film followed by a brief presentation, in French.
The question and answer period will be in both French and English.
