Dawn Tyler Watson a remporté le Prix du Québec Lys Blues pour la meilleure artiste feminine six années consécutives, et son dernier enregistrement intitulé "en duo" avec l’extrordinaire guitariste, Paul Deslauriers, a remporté Album de l'Année l'an dernier. Dawn continue ses tournées, revenues récemment de festivals à Moscou, en Lituanie et dans le Moyen-Orient. Son troisième album (deuxième avec Paul Deslauriers) est prévu pour une sortie ce printemps. Lorsqu'elle n'est pas sur la route avec Paul, elle perfectionne son chant jazz à Montréal, et travaille sur un nouvel enregistrement qui devrait débuter à l'automne de cette année.

In the past two decades, Singer/Actor/Songwriter Dawn Tyler Watson has earned her place among Canada’s Blues elite. Born in England and raised in Ontario, after earning her BFA in Jazz Studies and Theatre from Concordia University, she adopted Quebec as her home. An accomplished and dynamic performer, Watson’s fiery stage presence has earned her national and international recognition. She’s the recipient of three Canadian Maple Blues Awards, seven Quebec Lys Blues Awards, a Screaming Jay Hawkins Award for Best Live Performance (France), a Trophées France Blues for female International Artist of the Year, and a Canadian Folk Music Award nomination for Best Vocalist.
Playing festivals and concert halls across 4 continents, recording three albums, and appearing on numerous compilations, she has shared the stage with an array of premiere artists, including Oliver Jones, James Gelfand, Michel Danato, Jeff Healy, Koko Taylor, Susan Tedheschi, and Cyndi Lauper.
