Samedi le 3 juin se tiendra la 3e édition annuelle du Championnat québécois de Air Guitar au Théâtre Mainline !
ENREGISTREZ-VOUS POUR ENTRER DANS LA COMPÉTITION (vous devez être âgés de 19 ans et plus) : http://airguitarcanada.org/air-guitarist-registration/ BILLETS À VENDRE LE 10 MAI : http://www.montrealfringe.ca Le gagnant du Championnat québécois de Air Guitar recevra plusieurs prix, en plus de se forger une renommée urbaine sans pareil! La personne gagnante va rendre au Championnat national de Toronto, et court ainsi la chance d'être couronné Grand Champion Canadien. Qui sait? Peut-être ainsi vous envolerez-vous en Finlande pour le 22e Championnat mondial de Air Guitar qui se déroule du 22 au 25 août !
Comment participer ? Premièrement, créez un personnage. Ensuite, choisissez une chanson que vous allez rocker pendant une minute. Si vous vous rendez au 2e tour, c'est au tour du public de choisir la chanson sur laquelle vous allez démontrer vos talents en improvisation.
Quand on fait du Air Guitar, il faut avoir la paix mondiale en tête. En effet, comme le dit le dicton : "Quand vous tenez une Air Guitar, vous ne pouvez pas tenir un fusil."
Considez cette expérience rock n' roll comme du bénévolat! Toutes les recettes de la vente des billets iront directement à Right to Play Canada, un organisme qui aide les enfants du monde entier qui font face à l'adversité grâce à des programmes de sports et de jeux.

Saturday, June 3rd will mark the 3rd Annual Quebec Air Guitar Championships at MainLine Theatre!

http://airguitarcanada.org/air-guitarist-registration/ ON SALE: May 10 - http://www.montrealfringe.ca The Quebec Air Guitar Champ will receive prizes, mad street cred and then go on to the National Championships in Toronto for their chance to be crowned the Canadian Champ and go on to Finland for the 22nd Air Guitar World Championships on Aug. 22-25th.
How does one do this? Start with an Air Guitar persona, pick a song to rock out to for one minute, and if you make it to the second round… show off your improvisational skills to the tune of a song chosen that night by the audience.
Air Guitar is about world peace. The saying goes: "When you are holding an Air Guitar, you can't be holding a gun"
Consider it your rock and roll duty, your volunt'air'ism so to speak - because proceeds of the event go to Right to Play Canada, helping children facing adversity world-wide through sport and play programs.
