As the 2015 and 2016 cohorts overlap, we need to break the ice as soon as possible to fully enjoy our few weeks together. A popular formula of ours, the speed networking night, is a great way to do so.
What's speed networking? A current MBA student and a new 2016 MBA student sit together for 5 minutes, chat and get to know each other until you hear a very loud and unpleasant GONG. Then, the new student gets up (yeah, you're the ones moving, new kids) and go sit at the next current student's table.
Obviously, wine and cheese will be at your disposition and there will be speed networking intermissions so you continue the passionate conversations that got broke off. After the event, it's a networking free-for-all for a few hours.
Cost and registration is still to be announced (expect it to be around 10-15$), but keep your Tuesday April 21st evening available and put "attending" on Facebook if you'd like to have a spot. Places are limited. The event will happen at Restaurant Le Cercle, which is our fancy little restaurant at the 6th floor of Pavillon Cote-Ste-Catherine.
