The Apartment Apothecary Workshop:
How to Grow Your Own Herbal Remedies
Most people love a relaxing cup of tea after a hard day...now imagine how much better that tea would be home grown and freshly picked for the occasion! Sounds good? Then this workshop is for you! This 2 hour workshop focuses on 3 easy-to-grow and local to Quebec herbal plants.
This workshop is divided into two, one hour long sections:
1) DELICIOUS TEA TASTING SESSION: This part we will be focusing on the medicinal properties of the plants, tasting them in teas and learning how to use them as day to day herbal medicine.
2) HOW TO GROW THEM: If you have your own 5 acre plot or just a tiny window with a slither of sunlight; you can still grow! We will explore how to grow indoors and outdoors, the benefits of organic vs. hydroponic and natural or artificial light.
All those who desire GET A MEDICINAL SEEDLING (with a choice out of 3) to take home to begin their own herbal adventures.
