SID LEE Collective et XII Galaxies présentée l’installation vidéo « Desert Glitch », en première au festival Chromatic de Montréal.
« Desert Glitch », est une installation vidéo créée par 10 artistes internationaux issus du collectif 12 Galaxies en partenariat avec Sid Lee L.A. et Sid Lee Collective. L’œuvre raconte l’histoire intérieure de l’humanité à travers son parcours vers l’éveil de la conscience de soi, au moyen d’une installation vidéo diffusée sur trois écrans.
L’œuvre combine mythologie, géométrie sacrée et tradition spirituelle pour concevoir une esthétique hypermoderne et rétro futuriste. Conçue dans un style vaporwave, dans l’esprit des années 90, la vidéo va transporter les spectateurs dans un voyage à travers un paysage abstrait où le réel et l’hyper-réel cohabitent.
Desert Glitch sera présenté en première au festival Chromatic de Montréal du 27 mai au 1er juin au Studio leloi.

SID LEE Collective & XII Galaxies’ Video Art Installation “Desert Glitch” to Premiere at Montreal Chromatic Festival.
Desert Glitch is a video art installation created by 10 international artists from the 12 Galaxies Collective in partnership with Sid Lee Collective and Sid Lee LA. Desert Glitch tells the story of humanity’s inward journey towards self-awareness, expressed through an immersive three-screen video installation.
The work combines mythology, sacred geometry and spiritual traditions in a hyper-modern, retro-future aesthetic. Produced in a 90’s inspired vaporwave aesthetic, the video will take viewers on a journey through an abstract landscape where real and hyperreal co-exist. The video will feature 2D, 3D animations, as well as original video and drone footage shot in Joshua Tree, California and surrounding areas.
Desert Glitch will premiere at Chromatic Festival in Montreal on May 27th through June 1st at Studio leloi.
