The McGill Association of Student Composers (MASC) invites students, faculty and the general public to our first Forum on Contemporary Music. Composer Zihua Tan (D.Mus. candidate) will present his music and talk about his approach to composition, and theorist Cecilia Taher (Ph.D. candidate) will present a paper on the music of Gérard Grisey. Please note that this event is also part of the 2015-16 Doctoral Colloquium Lecture Series.
