Hi All!
It's Greg Pidcock here and I am so excited to come and celebrate 10 years of playing music at Velvet. Over the years I have done countless events here and with 300 years of history, the Auberge and the cave have probably seen more parties than most buildings in North America!
When we first started out at Velvet there was nothing but some old shag carpeting and some strange vinyl couches. Little by little things changed and we saw a great evolution that included new soundsystems, lighting, decorations and some of the best damn bartenders, floor staff and door staff the city has ever seen!
Since then my own journey has taken me to London but it's with great pride I can always call Velvet my homebase in the beautiful city of Montreal. They have been with me when I needed it most and gave me an incredible space to work out my ideas and develop my sound.
Over the years we have seen this lovely little cave host some of the best DJs from around the world. I have played Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays. Saturdays, Sundays, you name it! I have played with my best friends from around the world and this night is no exception as I'll be rocking the place with people who are more like brothers, Driss Skali & The Doctors.
