From Toronto to NYC, this is a show that features two writers, their music and covers of their fave influences. We'll always have a new band curated to the guest artist and new tunes. This time I'm very happy to be joined by Boston native / Montrealer / new New Yorker, Mz. Emma Frank.
When I started this show three years ago, Emma was one of the first artists I wanted featured. Her work to me, takes the best elements and colours of jazz, soulfully weaving and lyrically wandering with influences of r&b and joni-esque folk.
We've got a short collection of new and old songs of ours, and some CHOICE early 2000s covers. (!) Joined by a special guest rhythm section TBA.
