★ ABOUT SHELTON ★
Born in Toronto, Miss Shelton lived in different cities throughout Canada before establishing herself in Montreal. At the age of 17 while working in a trendy sushi lounge, she caught the eye of a DJ who was spinning at the lounge for a special occasion. Seeing her interest for what he was doing, the DJ threw her a challenge: "Find a mentor and learn the different aspects of Mixing" so that she could be in his upcoming event one month later. She was up to the challenge and one month later she played her first set. From there, she realized that she liked the experience enough to try and make a career in the world of DJ'ing.
At the age of 18, she started her first residency in a local college bar. Over the next year she continued meeting people in the industry, networking and promoting herself on social networks. It didn't take long before she found herself booked in the trendiest clubs around the province. Since then, she's been growing her artform, learning new skills and becoming a very popular name wherever she is booked.
Miss Shelton is currently touring North America sharing her passion for music. Her musical style could best be described as open format EDM. Extremely versatile, she loves to merge 90s, Hip Hop, Dancehall, Electro & House for the crowds and her own pleasure. From big clubs to private events, her focus is to be fresh, on point and to always keep the people on the dance floor wanting more.
Miss Shelton has already had the privilege to share the stage with several big artists such as; Chuckie, Havana Brown, Bob Sinclar, Fatman Scoop, Jazzy Jeff, Lucenzo, Far East Movement, Mischa Daniels, DJ Enferno, Karl Wolf, DJ Cobra and many more.
In the past few years, she's been holding down some impressive residencies across the province. Starting off with Radio Lounge Montreal, Unity and of course live on Virgin radio 95.9 FM Saturday nights from Light Ultra Club in the heart of downtown Montreal.
Miss Shelton has recently been recruited as one of the Canadian Guess Jeans in store DJ's. She's even started producing her very own tracks! Lookout for her first single nammed Rush, a collaboration with Toronto Producer 10Digits.
