Teenager Jim Hawkins finds a treasure map and he and his friends Jacqueline Trelawney and Lucinda Livesey set off to find the treasure. First they have to hire a crew of ragtag sailors, some of whom may be pirates. Once off, Jim and a one-legged sailor named Long John Silver become good friends but when they land at Treasure Island, Jim discovers that Long John Silver is teaming up with some of the others to take over the ship and steal the treasure for themselves. It’s up to Jim, his friends and Ben Gunn, a sailor who was abandoned on the island, to find the treasure and bring the mutineers under control.
