This first edition features BENDER, hailing form New York City. While his sets can often be deep and dark, many of his productions hit you in the feels with their upbeat rhythms and melodies. He is also down to earth, and loves to interact with his fans. This musical balance and genuine vibe is why we decided to bring him to Montreal.
When asked what he plays, he says "What's a genre? I just make whatever sounds good!" and this attitude and vibe has allowed him to open for ZHU at his dual "The Nightday Experience" parties in Brooklyn this past November, got his music on Tiësto's Club Life Radio Show, and why Dancing Astronaut listed him on the Top 25 Artists to Watch in 2015.
Stonehouse will be setting the tone for the event with some new (and soon to be released) deep and dark material.
We like all this 'cuz we came to dance & we came together.
The playground in question is none other than DIX71, a new Montreal club with a large dance floor, impressive visual projection but very intimate feel.
