As Program Director, your main goal is to facilitate and oversee the creation and quality of content in accordance to CJLO, CRTC and CSBC guidelines. Specifically, training new DJs and volunteers, evaluating and critiquing existing shows, and spearheading new programming initiatives. In addition, the Program Director is also responsible for maintaining the health of our signal and internal systems.

Magazine Editor

CJLO is searching for a new Magazine Editor to oversee the content and quality of our print and digital magazine ensuring that features are topical, interesting and informative. Additional tasks include planning features and supervising writers and set deadlines. The ideal candidate exhibits proven writing ability, has a background in journalism, and is a staunch supporter of journalist objectivity, reporting only the facts and not a personal attitude towards the facts.

RPM Music Director

CJLO is currently seeking an RPM Director to oversee the electronic portion of our music library, curate new music to CJLO, help DJs in locating music that would fit within their shows, and help to organize events centred around the genre. Our organization is actively building our team to help take CJLO to the next level in its development and continued growth as one of North America’s most well respected campus and community radio stations.

Additional Content Editor

The ACE is a non-voting member of the CJLO executive team responsible for the generation, editing, and posting of all additional content for the CJLO Magazine: film & theatre, sports columns, book reviews, restaurants, special interest and op-ed pieces, etc.

CJLO is a campus/community radio station based out of Concordia University’s Loyola campus located in NDG. CJLO belongs to the not-for-profit Concordia Student Broadcasting Corporation (CSBC) and represents Concordia University and its community. CJLO has been streaming online for thirteen years and in 2008, began broadcasting on 1690 AM throughout the Montréal area with 1000 watts of power. Currently running with a volunteer core of over 90 members, the station broadcasts a wide variety of musical and spoken word content. CJLO is an organization looking to take the next step in representing its community as a visible Montréal broadcaster.
