Le producteur électronique canadien CRi a rapidement été propulsé vers de stimulants projets, venant contribuer à la signature musicale montréalaise avec ses synthés houses et ses lignes de basse fluides. Ayant acquis, début 2015, un succès notable avec son splendide vidéoclip Pearl — réalisé par Kristof Brandl — le compositeur et DJ autodidacte en remet cette année avec son tout dernier EP ‘Tell Her’ et sa superbe pièce ‘Why I Love You’ publié sur l’étiquette de TOKiMONSTA (Young Art). Influencé par des artistes tels que Jamie XX, Caribou et Moderat, le jeune montréalais taille assidûment sa place parmi les grands noms.

Canadian electronic music producer CRi is quickly making a name for himself, bringing the current signature Montreal sound of house synths, syncopated snares and fluid basslines into a new era. Finding success in early 2015 with the beautiful video for “Pearl” (directed by Kristof Brandl), the self-taught composer and DJ returns this year with his new EP ‘Tell Her’ and his superb single ‘Why I Love You’ released on TOKiMONSTA’s imprint, Young Art. Influenced by artists like Jamie XX, Caribou and Moderat, this young Montrealer is quickly following in their footsteps.
