AfrotroniX au Phi Centre en collaboration avec Festival MEG Montréal
AfrotroniX fusionne la musique électronique avec des rythmes africains et du blues touareg. Les spectacles sont un mélange de DJ électro, d'instruments live, de performances de danse africaine urbaine et d'art numérique.
Découvert au festival AFROPUNK à Paris l'année dernière, AfrotroniX est une création originale du fameux guitariste tchadien Caleb Rimbtobaye, qui a travaillé avec des artistes internationaux, tels que Vieux Farka Touré, Brian Kennedy (Rihanna, Chris Brown) et plus encore... Caleb Rimtobaye vit maintenant à Montréal et continue à faire des tournées à travers le monde pour promouvoir une nouvelle image africaine.

AfrotroniX merges electronic music with African rhythms and Touareg blues. The live shows are original creations mixing an electro DJ, live instruments, African urban dance performances and digital art.
Discovered at Paris AFROPUNK Fest last year, AfrotroniX is an original creation by the famous Chadian guitarist Caleb Rimtobaye who worked with international artists like Vieux Farka Touré, Brian Kennedy (Rihanna, Chris Brown) and many more... Caleb Rimtobaye now lives in Montreal and has been touring the world to promote a new African image (Australia, Canada, USA, Tanzania, Qatar, South Africa, Korea, Switzerland).
