Le Phi Centre et le Centre Canadien d'Architecture / Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA) présentent PhiXCCA: une série de projections qui interrogent notre relation à la nature.
Le 28 janvier prochain aura lieu la projection de DISASTER PLAYGROUND (retenu en sélection officielle au festival SXSW de 2015) de Nelly Ben Hayoun.
Le film suit les scientifiques chargés de surveiller et de dévier des astéroïdes qui pourraient s’approcher dangereusement de la terre.
De la NASA et l’institut SETI à la Maison Blanche et les Nations Unies, Disaster Playgroundexpose la vie des gens responsables de protéger la planète de l’éventuel impact dévastateur d’un astéroïde.

The Phi Centre in partnership with the Centre Canadien d'Architecture / Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA) are screening special films on environmental destruction (and coming to terms with it).
On January 28th, Phi x CCA will present DISASTER PLAYGROUND (2015 SXSW official selection) by Nelly Ben Hayoun .
The film follows scientists leading the monitoring and deflection of hazardous Near Earth Objects and the real-life procedures in place in the event of an asteroid collision with the earth.
From NASA and the SETI Institute to the White House and the United Nations, Disaster Playground follows the people who are responsible for protecting humanity from a potentially devastating asteroid impact.
