Veuillez vous joindre à nous pour le vernissage de L’histoire, par ailleurs : Go Hasegawa, Kersten Geers, David Van Severen. Dans cette exposition, les architectes relisent, redessinent, transposent et s’approprient le passé et leurs visions respectives pour pouvoir bâtir des relations et extraire des significations à partir d’une constellation de références. L’histoire devient alors un objet qu’on peut utiliser, et non pas seulement un sujet d’étude.
Dans le cadre du vernissage, les architectes présenteront le travail de leurs agences, Go Hasegawa and Associates et OFFICE Kersten Geers David Van Severen. Les présentations seront suivies par une conversation modérée par Giovanna Borasi, conservateur en chef au CCA et commissaire de l’exposition.

Please join us for the opening of Besides, History: Go Hasegawa, Kersten Geers, David Van Severen. In this exhibition, the architects reread, redraw, translate, and appropriate from the past and from each other in order to construct relationships and meaning out of a constellation of references. History becomes something that can be used rather than just studied.
As part of the opening event, the architects will present the work of their practices, Go Hasegawa and Associates and OFFICE Kersten Geers David Van Severen. This will be followed by a conversation moderated by CCA chief curator Giovanna Borasi, curator of the exhibition.
