THE ROYAL PICKLES
Les Royal Pickles se sont formés en 2012 lors d'un bel été avec la volonté de profiter du beau temps pour faire swinguer les rues de Montréal. Leur répertoire varie entre les compositions de Louis, des rearrangements de chansons francaises et autres standards de swing. S’ils se plaisent beaucoup à faire danser les passants, les Royal pickles sont devenu un groupe incontournable des soirées de danse montréalaises, autant dans les salles de spectacles que dans les événements privés.

DRIVING LA NUIT
Driving La Nuit plays independent and soft pop music. The kind of pop music that likes to tell stories, interspersed with instrumental digressions like in the illustrations of a fairy tale book... A trip at the heart of a cosy compartment. A sweet ballad from Jazz to Pop. Behind the wheel are Baptiste de Chabaneix and Marie-Lou Desage , respectively composer and author of this timeless album. They rush to a nostalgic and blue night, companions and accomplices, since always and forever. They talk about melancholy, waiting and hope. After six years of precious moments in the studio and now surrounded with three more musicians, they give us rich and deep compositions with no frills of any kind. Treasure-like music which they want to sound far from the trends. Their aesthetics have timeless tones, halfway between the world of Feist and Patrick Watson, or that of Serge Gainsbourg and the do. Their very promising album is scheduled for release in 2017
