The Society for Arts and Technology invites you to the 5th edition of iX, an annual international symposium on immersive experiences !
As immersive virtual experience platforms continue to multiply (VR, AR, MR, XR...), the symposium will open a formal and ethical reflection on what we consider to be « The Conquest of Reality ». This ironic (and not so ironic) general theme points to the intense efforts to coin and get a sense of what is happening to us early adopters, artists, innovators whom some may call victims of these potent immersive experience technologies and practices which we are forging together.

Une réflexion formelle et éthique qui marquera de façon ironique (et pas si ironique) cette inflation des "technologies de la réalité" et la promesse à la fois passionnante et dystopique d’un déploiement de masse.
