This year's daily lineup at Osheaga is out, and what better way to spend a summer weekend than listening to music in Montreal? This will be the 10th anniversary of this music festival, which is located in a park on St. Helen's Island on the St. Lawrence River. Side-by-side main stages for non-stop music, terrific food vendors, and plenty more to do. It's a pretty sweet group of bands that will be performing this year - check it out for yourself:
Friday: Florence & The Machine, Of Monsters and Men, Stromae, The Avett Brothers, The Decemberists, Chet Faker, Marina and the Diamonds, Iron & Wine, George Ezra, Twenty One Pilots...
Saturday: Kendrick Lamar, Weezer, Patrick Watson, Nas, Interpol, St. Vincent, Milky Chance, Young the Giant...
Sunday: The Black Keys, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Alt-J, Hot Chip, Father John Misty, Banks, Tove Lo, MS MR, Broods, Goldroom, San Fermin...
The full lineup:
3-day passes are $275CAD or about $225USD, with single-day passes also available. If you are interested in going, RSVP, and we can coordinate on how to meet up offline, whether that means carpooling from Boston or meeting up somewhere near the festival in Montreal!
There is no camping at this festival, so I would recommend finding a hotel or airbnb in downtown Montreal. It's a short 15-minute subway ride from Station Berri-UQAM in Quartier des Spectacles that takes you directly to the festival entrance (Station Jean-Drapeau).
