Clowns Without Borders is holding a cabaret on Thursday May 26, at Wiggle Room at 8:30pm! You will discover two humanitarian projects that were carried out in partnership with the organization since the beginning of 2016. Come meet Jan Dutler, who has just returned from a humanitarian project in Nicaragua. He went to run workshops and circus clown in a local primary school, in addition to creating a clown show with children. Come and meet Josiane Proteau and her team who carried out a social mission of clowning in the Aboriginal community Kitcisakik, Abitibi. Clowns Without Borders in its fourth year of partnership with the community, and Josiane is in her third year as an organizer. also running improvisation workshops, circus workshops, show, parade, art mural making, sharing knowledge with the community, projects abound!

During the evening, you will learn more about these two missions, on their achievements, their purpose, their goals and their contribution to the community, interspersed with artistic performances! Come and share this unique experience in a fun night of clowns!

The entrance fee is 15$ at the door (except for those who pledged on Indiegogo) and will be donated to the organization Clowns Without Borders. Doors open at 7:30pm. There will also be an on-site kiosk with sweaters and clown noses with the head of CWB, if you want to be part of the family!

Clowns Sans Frontières tiendra un cabaret soirée partage le jeudi 26 mai, au Wiggle Room à 20h30! Vous y découvrirez deux projets humanitaires qui ont été réalisés en partenariat avec l'organisme depuis le début de l'année 2016. Venez rencontrer Jan Dutler, qui a mené à terme un projet de clown social au Nicaragua. Il est allé donner des ateliers de clown et de cirque dans une école primaire locale, en plus de créer un spectacle clownesque avec les enfants. Venez aussi rencontrer Josiane Proteau et son équipe, qui ont réalisé une mission de clown social dans la communauté autochtone de Kitcisakik, en Abitibi. Clowns Sans Frontières en est à sa quatrième année de partenariat avec la communauté, et Josiane en est à sa troisième année à titre d'organisatrice. Ateliers d'improvisation, ateliers de cirque, spectacle, parade, confection de murales artistiques, partage de connaissances avec la communauté, les projets ne manquent pas!

Lors de cette soirée partage, vous en apprendrez davantage sur ces deux missions, sur leur réalisation, leur but, leurs objectifs et leur apport à la communauté, le tout entrecoupé de performances artistiques! Venez partager cette expérience unique, clownesque, joyeuse et sans prétention!

Le prix d'entrée est de 15$ (à l'exception des donateurs via Indiegogo) les sous seront versés à l'organisme Clowns Sans Frontières. L'ouverture des portes est à 19h30. Il y aura aussi sur place un kiosque avec chandails et nez de clown à l'effigie de CSF, si vous voulez faire partie de la grande famille!
