From the very first notes, we are plunged in a world where heavy pop, smooth jazz and rock coexist in unison. All that toped with a voice - soft yet edgy - that will transport you from dusk to dawn in seconds.
As a daughter of a musician, San James spent a lot of time behind the scenes from a young age. While other kids were busy playing hide-and-seek, she would listen to all the records stored in her basement and sing along, searching for the right harmonies for hours on end. After spending a part of her adolescence singing for others, she eventually decided to move on… but not for long. She began writing songs and, above all, started to sing again. Only then did she remember how good it felt.
Bursting onto Montreal's music scene, San James will be releasing her first EP in the Fall of 2016.
