It is with great pleasure that Concordia University and NSERC invite you to this Academia-Industry R&D networking event with presentations from academia, industry and research funding Agencies including NSERC, MEDTEQ and Mitacs.
This event will bring together academic researchers and companies working on medical technologies with the objective of creating solid and mutually beneficial research collaboration partnerships.
This event is directed to university and college researchers and companies working in fields such as:
- Technologies for the diagnosis and control;
- Medical devices;
- Assessment, replacement or modification of the anatomy or physiological processes;
- Monitoring of patients and imaging technologies;
- Telemedicine, e-health, and home care;
- Information technologies for healthcare;
- Information technologies for simulation and training of health professionals;
- Operations and process management for health systems (patient services, logistics, care delivery, biomedical engineering).
- Micro- and nano-technologies applied to medicine.
It will be an opportunity for both researchers and industry to present a snapshot of their R&D activities and interests, as well as to discuss challenges and opportunities.
