SPACEFACE (Memphis, US)
Spaceface is led by Jake Ingalls who also plays guitar and synthesizer in The Flaming Lips. And the show reflects that influence. Spaceface works to bring the concert grade experience to a club level employing a DIY light rig and other theatrical elements. They have two Ep's that were released in the past year, the first recorded at Pink Floor Studio in OKC and second Ardent Studios in Memphis, TN. They have been a touring band for 3 years playing shows and festivals all across the country, including Hangout Festival in Gulf Shores, AL, SXSW in Austin, Treefort Music Festival in Boise ID, and ACM Fest in OKC. Some of the acts Spaceface has toured and worked with include a broad range of genres like Phantogram, The Flaming Lips, Bright Light Social Hour, Young Buffalo, Prince Rama, Swimm, Morgan Delt, Stardeath and White Dwarfs and Electric Wurms. Spaceface has just finished recording a full length LP this winter and is mixing and mastering now, to be released as soon as this summer, followed by a national tour.

Moonwalks are a weird dark space psych outfit based out of Detroit, MI. The band consists of Tyler Grates (guitar/keys), Kerrigan Pearce (drums), Jacob Dean (guitar), and Kate Gutwald (bass). Their first EP, recorded by the legendary Jim Diamond (White Stripes/The Dirtbombs), was released in November of 2014 on L.A. based label L.O.O.S.E+Manimal Vinyl, and was dubbed a 'New and Notable Release' by Bandcamp. Originated in Detroit's DIY scene, playing in warehouses and makeshift venues across the city. Since then, Moonwalks have toured the US with fellow Michiganders Heaters, as well as open for notable acts such as Thee Oh Sees, The Holydrug Couple, and Holly Golightly. Their debut LP, also recorded by Diamond, is set to be released November 6, 2015 on Manimal Vinyl.

Wizaard is your funky brother from another mother. They have imported a palm tree from Portugal, just for their jam space. This is not true but what is true is that they will make your feet smell bad from dancing too much. Take a space cake and let it all hang out. Maybe slinky guitars laced with synths and a pounding rhythmic section is just too much for you to handle? There’s only one way to know, come down to the party and bring your friends because you don’t want to make anyone jealous.
