AFTER FUNK (TO)
After Funk is a fun filled, soul driven, power funk explosion. Hailed as "The grooviest band north of the border" (Live for Live Music), the Toronto based funk family has been blazing a trail through the music scene leaving only happy hearts and dancing feet in their wake. The combination of Yanick Allwood (keyboards & vocals), Jaime Rosenberg (drums), Justin Bontje (bass), and Phil Tessis (guitar) results in an infectiously fun show, as well as virtuosity and beauty that will challenge your musical mind. After Funk's sound and hard work have not gone unnoticed either. They were selected as the Electric Forest's Instrumental Forester, which earned them two sets at the festival in 2014. The band has features alongside other familiar artists like Lettuce, Snarky Puppy, Dumpstaphunk, Kung Fu, The Nth Power and Walk Off the Earth. But if you truly want to find out what comes after the funk, you'll just have to come experience it for yourself!

Clark's Bowling Club is a funk/jazz/hip-hop project created by 3 Montrealers in July 2015. The group was created with a common passion for 80's music. The residents of Clark street blend in jazzy, funky and soulful genres with electronic sounds and hip-hop rhythm. The Club finds its identity by including artists who get the same heart-warming feeling when playing music.

Take a former metal band worshipping satan, then make them feel a bunch of dandelions by transforming their Slipknot discs into James Brown records. Then, replace guitar distortions with sharp synthesizers. Mix these ingredients up altogether and sprinkle some electro/house/hip-hop on top. What you get is a new recipe that is the origin of "Of Course", an electro-funk trio that is sure to make you energetically groove on the dancefloor all night!
