The Gumbo as it is known in Louisiana is made in different ways. It is called Okro soup in Nigeria, Callalo in Trinidad and Quimbombo in Cuba. Since Wan and Chi started the GUMBO music series, it has traveled from Toronto to New Orleans to Montreal. It's a combination of sounds that overlap, blend and clash to create a delectable music palate. Now going on its 9th edition. GUMBO has quickly gained notoriety as a sweaty dancey sure thing wherever and whenever it touches down.
