40th anniversary of the Joint PhD Program in Business Administration
The Montreal joint program in doctoral management education is celebrating 40 years since its inception. Since 1976, the joint program has graduated over 800 PhD students who have gone on to occupy important positions in university education as well as in the private and public sector. As such, the Montreal Joint Program is one of the largest centers of management doctoral education in the world. During the 40 years, management education has changed radically, the field has moved from peripheral to become core to the University’s mission. It is time to take stock in the ways in which management doctoral education has evolved, the diversity of stakeholders it now involves, and the breadth of topics that are considered management topics.
Take this opportunity to join us as we celebrate 40 years of student focused doctoral education. Come and meet with the co-founders of the program, prominent keynote speakers who will address the future of management research and managing an academic career, as well as network with alumni, faculty and current students in the joint doctoral program (HEC, JMSB, McGill and UQAM).
