Haven’t had your “Aha!” moment yet?
The Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship is hosting a networking event for student entrepreneurs who are interested in partnering with McGill Professors or graduate students to participate in the McGill Dobson Cup.
Projects will be briefly presented by researchers who would like to pursue the creation of a start-up to commercialize their intellectual property. The entrepreneurs will then have the opportunity to network with the researchers and discuss the projects in more detail, with the goal of establishing a McGill Dobson Cup team by the end of the event. In addition, several professors and students from the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Science will be demonstrating the current projects they are in the process of commercializing.
These projects have been generated by a range of faculty and departments including the Faculty of Agriculture and Environment Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, School of Computer Science, and the Departments of Physics, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering.
The event is free of charge and open to both students and the general public, however, capacity is limited. Please register for an Eventbrite ticket to secure your spot!
