Et si on parlait de bonheur sur le chantier?
L’exposition offre une lecture du rapport McAppy, la proposition drôle et intelligente préparée au début des années 1970 par le Britannique Cedric Price (1934–2003), un architecte, théoricien et innovateur radical. Le rapport en deux volumes, combiné à un programme d’abris portatifs (Portable Enclosures Programme – PEP), visait à améliorer les conditions de travail de sorte à assurer le bonheur et le bien-être tant physique que mental des employés, en accordant la priorité à des conditions de travail stimulantes et peu stressantes sur le chantier.

What About Happiness on the Building Site?
The exhibition offers a reading of the early 1970s McAppy report, a witty proposal by the British architect, thinker and radical innovator Cedric Price (1934–2003). The two-volume report combined with a Portable Enclosures Programme (PEP) proposed how to improve labour conditions, assuring happiness and well-being, both mental and physical, for employees by prioritizing a low-stress, boredom-free building site.
