En 2012, Ron Hamelin a fait apparition sur la scène montréalaise avec sa toute première prestation en tant que DJ dans le cadre de l’édition originale du party Beat the Coq. La rumeur voulant que la musique house techno de Ron était d’une intensité vive, impulsive et audacieuse commença alors à circuler rapidement! Depuis ce temps, Ron aura joué lors d’évènements d’envergure tels le festival Black & Blue, la fin de semaine fétiche de Montréal, le Kink Kocktail de Fierté Montréal, Kink Hommes, Jock Room, Papa Party, Black Kocktail, Macho Fuckers, The Men Event, le week-end Renegade, le Pig Party, la fin de semaine Bear au camping de la fierté, le World Pride de Toronto… ainsi que d’autres aux États-Unis: Sinners Ball, Ogunquit, Hudson Pride, Harness Albany, Night Out Men et le week-end en cuir Albany Bound.
Ron Hamelin est également un ambitieux propriétaire de l’une des plus grandes et prestigieuses discothèques montréalaises: le PLAY, un réel temple moderne de la musique house. En moins de quatre ans, Ron sera devenu un DJ house techno bien connu dans le village montréalais, il a également créé dans celui-ci un party pour hommes appelé Testostérone qui voyage maintenant dans plusieurs autres villes canadiennes et américaines. Le succès incontestable des partys Testostérone est attribuable au fait qu’ils sont inspirés de la rythmique marginale et unique que possède Ron, créant ainsi une ambiance sexy, intense et saisissante.
Ron a produit de nombreuses compositions house et techno dont les plus récentes sont sur Beatport: Into the Night (EP), Get Out Of This House (EP), No Longer Your Queen, Crunch, and What Is Techno.
Les foules animées par Ron continuent généralement à danser avec endurance et ténacité même après l’ouverture des lumières!

DJ Ron Hamelin burst onto Montréal’s hot dance scene in 2012 with his first big gig at the premier of the Beat the Coq party. Word quickly spread about Ron’s thumping underground techno/house sounds. Since that time, Ron has performed gigs at Black & Blue Festival, Montréal Fetish Weekend, Montréal Pride’s Kink Kocktail, Kink Hommes, Jock Room, Papa Party, Black Kocktail, Macho Fuckers, The Men Event, Renegade weekend, Pig Party, Macho Party, Bear Weekend @ La Fierté Camping, Toronto World Pride, as well as gigs in the United States (Sinners Ball, Ogunquit; Hudson Pride; Harness Albany; Men's Night Out; and Albany Bound Leather Weekend).
In addition, he's an owner of Montreal's largest and hottest new club called PLAY. In less than four years, Ron has become a well-known techno/house DJ in Montréal's gay village. He has also created a men-only dance party called Testostérone™ in Montréal, which is traveling to other cities in Canada and in the US that infuses rhythmic underground techno/house beats to create a sexy vibe for men.
He has also produced numerous house and techno tracks, the latest of which are on Beatport: Into the Night (EP), Get Out Of This House (EP), No Longer Your Queen, Crunch, and What Is Techno. Ron typically has people dancing hard and furious until after the lights come on.
