winner of U.S. State Department's International Women of Courage Award and more recently the Right the Wrong award by Oxfam, and a founder of Basamat for Development Foundation. - Basamat For Development foundation, is a Lebanese-registered non-governmental organization, was founded in July 2014, by group of Syrian and Lebanese civil society activists and volunteers who is working with refugees in Lebanon, where we run 2 community centres in both Lebanon and Syria for women, and a school “Small World” from the 1st grade to the 12th.
Shahir Raslan
Shahir Raslan is an international speaker and a community/humanitarian activist who dedicates his life to helping humanitarian and multi faith causes around the world. Originaly from and born in Syria, Migrated to the USA, he graduated from northern Illinois university with a mechanical engineering degree. currently he serves as the president of advanced machine shop and the president of the mosque Al-Ihsan in Atlanta Georgia. .He travelled all over North America to raise money for multi faith causes and international humanitarian causes
