STREAM CARITATIF DE SENSIBILISATION À LA CYBERDÉPENDANCE
Dans le cadre des festivités de la Nuit blanche à Montréal et du festival Montréal joue, Meltdown Montréal organise un 36 h de streaming caritatif qui commencera le 3 mars 2018 à 10 h.
L’événement a pour but de sensibiliser les joueurs de jeux vidéo à la cyberdépendance et de collecter des fonds pour la Fondation des Gardiens Virtuels.
Le Meltdown Montréal et la Fondation des Gardiens Virtuels invitent toutes les personnes qui désirent participer au streaming à écrire à montreal@meltdown.bar ou à la page Facebook du Meltdown : https://www.facebook.com/MeltdownMTL/ .
Il y aura une chaîne de diffusion principale sur Twitch, et tous les participants pourront également utiliser le matériel fourni par le Meltdown chacun leur tour pour diffuser du contenu sur leurs propres chaînes grâce aux 10 stations mises à leur disposition.

La Fondation des Gardiens Virtuels est une nouvelle OBNL qui a pour mission d’aider les personnes en détresse en ligne ainsi que de promouvoir une utilisation responsable d’Internet, dans l’intérêt de la société. Dans les semaines à venir, l’organisation lancera sa campagne officielle auprès des utilisateurs de technologie en ligne de tout genre et des professionnels du milieu de la santé et du commerce. https://fondationgardiensvirtuels.ca/ Nous aimerions remercier toutes les organisations qui contribuent à cet événement, notamment la Fédération québécoise de sports électroniques, Montreal Gaymers. CHARITY STREAM FOR INTERNET ADDICTION AWARENESS
During the Nuit Blanche and Montréal Joue events, Meltdown Montréal is hosting a 36-hours charity streaming event, which will begin on March 3, 2018, at 10 a.m.
The stream aims to raise gamers’ awareness about Internet and gaming addiction, and to raise funds for the non-profit Virtual Guardians Foundation organization.
Meltdown Montréal and Virtual Guardians Foundation invite all those who wish to participate in the event to reach out by sending a message to montreal@meltdown.bar or to the Meltdown’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/MeltdownMTL/. There will be one main Twitch channel for the event, and all participants will be able to use assets provided by Meltdown to stream on their own Twitch channels, thanks to 10 PC stations available in the bar.

The Virtual Guardians Foundation is a newly-formed non-profit organization that aims to support individuals in desperate need online and to promote responsible and healthy Internet use that benefits society. In the next few weeks, the organization will launch its official campaign aimed at users of online entertainment and professionals in the technology and mental health domains.
