In the company of a biologist, discover Mont-Royal’s forest floor flowers and note their exceptional diversity. This is also an opportunity to see some remarkable trees selected by the City of Montréal for their cultural and dendrological value.

In the mid-nineteenth century, the eastern slope of Mount Royal was surrounded by large rural villas. The creation of Mount Royal Park in 1876 and subsequent urbanisation transformed the area by the end of the century. How did these homes coexist with the park and what is left of them today?
