The Montreal Lengaïa band will do a tribute to the Queen of Salsa, Havana’s Celia Cruz and the Greatest Stars of New York and Puerto Rican Salsa. Le Balcon is pulling out all the stops to create an evening that’s vibrant, passionate and energetic. Under the direction of Giany Despointes, the band will play rhythms of salsa from the 1970s, influenced by the repertoire of the great Celia Cruz, the voice of Cuba.
