In So Blue, dance blasts follow one another with a visceral energy, exalted by the Ottoman-influenced music of Mercan Dede. Without pausing, Louise Lecavalier, and her partner Frédéric Tavernini, are propelled around the stage. The movements always in perpetual metamorphosis of these two extreme dancers light this blaze with their own interior flame.
→ From 1981 to 1999, Louise Lecavalier, along with Édouard Lock, have incarnated an extreme version of dance. In 2006, she established her own company, and continues her research on the strength and vulnerability of the body. A critic- ally acclaimed dancer and choreographer, she has received many prestigious awards.
