This exceptional concert will allow the audience to discover three Quebec choirs who distinguished themselves in the 2015 National Competition for Canadian Amateur Choirs, organized by Choral Canada. Ensemble Phoebus, conducted by Roseline Blain, won first prize in the Equal-Voice Men's Choir category. Choeur du Plateau, also conducted by Roseline Blain, won second prize in the Mixed-Voice Adult Choir category. The Sainte-Anne Singers, conducted by Margo Keenan, won second prize in the Mixed-Voice Adult Chamber Choir category. We are very proud of these talented groups who are among some of Canada’s finest choirs, and whose achievement highlights the quality of Quebec’s choral directors and choristers. The concert will be a unique opportunity, not only to hear three award-winning performances, but also to celebrate the excellence of choral singing in Quebec.
