If you have some dancing experience (and that includes having come to one of our special beginner meet-up classes), come join our class. Build up your skills and your dance repertoire so that you can join the international Scottish country dance community. Bring comfy, flat, soft-soled shoes. No need for a partner or much experience, come and learn with us. Cost is $4 at the door. If you are a new Scottish dancer, try to get here right at 715 - that way you can learn a few steps and figures before the regulars show up. After a 10 minute break around 845, we will continue with more challenging dances for our more experienced dancers.
Also, while Scottish Country dancing is a fun and relaxing way to meet people (all around the world!) and to get exercise, it does have a learning curve that requires a certain commitment. Come give it a try. If you love it (like I do), you'll want to commit!
