Born in the Eastern Townships, Jérome discovers music at a very young age. After taking many years of classical lessons on the piano and the violon, he decides to pursue his studies in jazz piano at Cégep de Sherbrooke and University of Montreal, from which he graduates with a bachelor's degree in jazz interpretation.
Trio Jérome Beaulieu, the project for which he is the pianist and composer, has received many awards over the recent years, winning the 2011 edition of both the Montreal-based “Jazz en Rafale” competition and Festi-Jazz de Rimouski's “Grand Prix” as well as being Radio-Canada Revelation for 2013-2014; their recent groupe effort “Chercher l'Equilibre” was recently awarded the Felix of the category “Jazz Creation” at l'ADISQ 2014 . Jérome can also be heard playing in other jazz, world and pop-oriented projects such as the Francois Jalbert Quartet, the Lo-Fi Octet, Antoine Pelegrin's Quintet, Alex Bellegarde Trio, Bomata, Les Brunettes, Zale Seck, Ivy, etc.
