For Montréal’s 375th anniversary, MUTEK mobilizes its international connections in order to host a series of four special events dedicated to the cultural metropoles — Mexico City, London, Barcelona and Berlin. For each of these targeted cities, events will be stationed at the Society for Arts and Technology with other venues and partners contributing to the programming. The Inter_Connect Montréal series will include audiovisual and musical performances, exhibitions, design, gastronomy, conferences and films, always experienced through the prism of digital creativity. Highlighting the contemporaneous connections between Montréal and the hosted city, expect a multidisciplinary program that is both local and exotic.
