After Ottawa, Montreal will have the chance to welcome the remarkable North Indian classical singer Indrani Mukherjee, on March 25. This will not be her first visit to Montreal. Indeed, in addition to touching hearts and audiences internationally, Mrs. Mukherjee has previously performed beautifully on the stage of the Montreal International Jazz Festival in 2009 with the famous French trumpet player Erik Truffaz and the Brazilian pianist Malcom Braff with their project and album Benares. So here she is, back with all her warmth and traditional vocal beauty, for the concert: Hindustani, pure & profound, on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at 6:30pm, at Le Théâtre du Grand Sault.
Guided by the greatest in her learning of vocal tradition, and although still young, the exquisite vocalist Indrani Mukherjee has sung all over the world and has left an indelible memory in the heart of her audiences as well as in the heart of critics.
