THE CURLS
The Curls is a constantly evolving art rock group based in Chicago, IL. Beginning as a minimalist folk rock project for singer/songwriter Mick Fansler two years ago, the band has evolved and expanded into a complex collaborative world of choogle (choo•gle, nonsense rock verb) exploring elements of new wave, post punk, acid jazz, and country music. The full 6-piece lineup is currently working on their 2nd LP and will be touring North America throughout December as a trio, including: Mick Fansler (Guitar, Vocals), Jan Darshall (synthesizer, trumpet, saxophone) and Carl Swoveland (drums).

DahL uses a base made up of five parts: a mix of pulsating and bopping electronics that boil over into fits of disfigured guitar, bass, drums, and vocals. ----------------------------------- Dahl flirt entre cinq éléments : des beats rythmés, des accords de guitare distordue, de la basse, de la batterie et des voix entrecoupées entre elles.
