Ever hear a classic song on the radio and wonder, "Hey, whatever happened to that singer?" This year's musical fundraiser is all about bringing back your favourite one-hit wonders to the spotlight, from "Closing Time" to "Funkytown" and every "Mickey" in-between. We might not remember who sang them, but they're songs we'll never forget.
8TH ANNUAL MUSICAL FUNDRAISER: ONE-HIT WONDERS
Sign up to raise funds in support of the Segal Centre in exchange for the experience of a lifetime performing great music in front of a live audience. It is thanks to your participation in You Be the Star that the Segal Centre can continue to produce great theatre, provide youth arts education, and grow as an important resource for the community. You help make it possible to do what we do!
NEW REGISTRATION PROCESS
Registering is now easier than ever!
- Simply select Solo, Duet, Trio, Chorus/Dancer or Children
- Peruse the song list attributed to that category
- Choose your top 5 favorites. (not applicable for Chorus/Dancer or Children)
- Register your name and pay a $50 plus tax registration fee
- A member of the creative team will work with you to select the song best suited to you. You will be guaranteed one of your 5 song picks
Registration will be open until November 14!
Musical experience is NOT a requirement, but enthusiasm definitely is!
